My name is Douglas and I operate a small eating place in a little suburb just outside Sydney. My restaurant opens from 4pm to 10pm, 6 nights a week and for this kind of work hours I do fairly well. I am also the chef and I employ 2 waitresses per night to help me. The waitresses are usually university students who are searching for extra money, mostly Asians pupils and the majority of are quite friendly. Five months back a student from Thailand, Wendy, started working for me. She had completed her degree four months ago majoring in English and currently waiting for her fiancée to complete his before they both return.
