Downtown Las Vegas is the citys main business district and also was once its main gaming district also, prior to the development of The Strip. Downtown is part of a revitalization endeavor and is soon to be home to Symphony Park, one of the largest urban redevelopments in the country. Currently being engineered by the City of Las Vegas, this 61-acre mixed-use urban local community will be located in the heart of Downtown. This new community is the home of some of Las Vegas’ most significant economic, social, and civic undertakings, including a recreation area of the same name, Symphony Park, the two-acre open and clear space core.
