Looking to shed a few pounds? According to science, some nighttime wine might just be the solution.A recent study out of Washington State University showed that wine and weight loss go hand-in-hand, thanks to a substance called resveratrol.The compound, which is found in red wine, was shown to help convert “white fat” into “beige fat.” (The latter is easier to burn off.) Researchers at Harvard University also discovered the wine-weight loss connection in their own study, which showed that women who drank “two glasses of wine per day were 70% less likely to be obese.”
