Downtown Las Vegas is the citys main business district and additionally was once its core gaming district as well, prior to the continuing development of The Strip. Downtown is part of a revitalization endeavor and is soon to be home to Symphony Park, considered one of the largest urban redevelopments in the country. Currently being formulated by the City of Las Vegas, this 61-acre mixed-use urban community will be located in the heart of Downtown. This new community is home to some of Las Vegas’ most significant economic, social, and civic ventures, including a park of the same name, Symphony Park, the two-acre open and clear space core. The $6 billion undertaking is also an eco-friendly development.
